Terms of Service
Effective June 7, 2026.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Evlux ("Evlux," "we," "us") and govern your access to and use of the Evlux website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a ticket, publishing an event, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Evlux is a marketplace and operations platform for events. We help hosts plan private events, vendors and planners offer services, promoters sell tickets to public events, and guests respond to invitations or purchase tickets. We are a software platform; we are not the underlying service provider for events booked through the Service unless we expressly state otherwise.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain parts of the Service. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@evlux.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You agree to provide accurate information when creating or updating your account.
3. Payments and tickets
Ticket sales and other payments processed through the Service are handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Card data is collected, stored, and processed by Stripe; Evlux does not store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or related sensitive payment data on our systems.
When you purchase a ticket, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the amount displayed at checkout. A ticket is only confirmed once Stripe completes the payment and our webhook receives confirmation. Refunds, where available, are processed through Stripe and are subject to the policies of the promoter or vendor offering the underlying event or service.
Evlux may charge platform fees to vendors, planners, or promoters. Where applicable, these fees are disclosed at the time of transaction or in writing.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of another person;
- distribute spam, malware, or content that is harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other users' accounts;
- reverse engineer or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access to any account that violates these rules.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (including invitation text, photos, event descriptions, guest lists, and similar). You grant Evlux a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content as reasonably necessary to provide the Service to you and the recipients you specify.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the Evlux name and logo, is owned by Evlux and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVLUX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVLUX WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe such action is necessary to protect the Service or other users.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
